I am unable to download the newest version with my registration data.

Registration codes regularly change after the release of major new versions. In this case we send an update notification with the new data to your registered email address. Please check your spam filter and make sure you are able to receive mails from info@picmeta.com.

 

My email address has changed. How can I get the new registration information?

We never send registration information to other email addresses than your registered one. Your registered email address can be changed for up to 3 years after the registration. Please authenticate yourself by forwarding the original receipt of the purchase to info@picmeta.com.

 

How should I install a newer version?

It is generally not necessary to uninstall the existing version first, simply install over the old version.

 

I am getting a virus warning.

You are probably using ESET NOD32, which regularly creates false positives. Files downloaded from our server are tested and virus free. You can safely ignore the warning message.

 

The program does not start, starts slowly, or crashes.

There are reports of incompatibilities with ZoneAlarm or F-Secure Internet Security. In F-Secure, you should deactivate “DeepGuard”. You may also try to exclude the Picmeta folder from scanning. We also recommend this if you are using Microsoft Security Essentials, which could cause a delay when opening the program.

 

Do you have a Mac version of your software?

There is currently no Mac version, and there probably won’t be in the near future.
